Below are many different versions of presenting my team of characters, both with and without the iceberg but in the end I decided not to use the iceberg because it was too much of a feature.

Background Drawing
I drew an iceberg with water so that the tiger, bear and dog could stand/sit on it and the seal could swim below it.
Seal Drawing
This is the progression of the seal character. I changed the pose because I wanted a more interesting swimming pose. The dusty red is representative of the red of the Russian flag. The blue enhances the highlights and shadows. I gave the seal spots because of the Russian seal it is modelled on can have some at a younger age.

Dog Drawing
This is the progression of my dog character, from drawing to fully digital. I changed the pose because I had used the same one as the bear to explore the dog character. I didn't like the angry look I gave him, even though my reason for using the Sochi wild dog as a character was a commentary on the killings of them for the Winter Olympics. I felt it changed the feel of the whole set and gave him a watcher pose instead. The dark red represents the red from the Russian flag, but the red was too dark so I died it down a bit because it was effecting the clean black lines.
This character follows the style well and also represents the watching audience very well. His name is Timur, also a Russian name.
Tiger Drawing
This is the progression of my tiger character. The first drawing is trying to fit in with the style of the bear, so I drew it in the same pose to get the feeling of the character. She started off sad but I wanted a happier looking set so she progressed to a happier drawing. The light and dark blues are again a reflection of the Russian flag, but the tone difference brings interest to the drawing. I have also used the reds to highlight and shadow the figure.
I am happy with this version because she looks happier and more lively. Her name is Dina, also a Russian name.

Bear Drawing
This is the progression from drawing to fully digital version. I decided to use dark blue and white fur to mimic part of the Russian flag. Keeping the bear cute means that the rest of the team can easily fit into the style. I used red in the shadow and highlights to reflect the last part of the Russian flag but to also heighten the highlights and deepen the shadows.
